Winona360 invites community to photo exhibit closing

The Winona360 website — www.winona360.org — is extending the educational programs of Winona State, Saint Mary’s and Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical College into the community through blogs, articles and forums.

Winona360 aims to promote knowledge and understanding that empowers communities. Local coverage includes strong arts, features and food/sustainability content as well as visually compelling images. Winona360 is a community-powered news site based in the Winona State University Mass Communication Department, where people can express their opinion by submitting their own photos, articles and multimedia content. Winona360 boasts the only comprehensive community calendar of our region, inviting all community members to submit events.

Community members are invited to attend a closing reception celebrating the exhibit Friday, Aug. 27 from 4-6 p.m., at Smith Studio and Gallery, as part of the Fringe Friday festivities in downtown Winona. Stop by to snack, have a glass of wine, and enjoy the talents of staff, community members and students who are involved in the Winona360 site.
